About Esdan
Esdan Plastics is an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturer of plastic hoses and tubes. 
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located in Melbourne, Australia. 
We also operate a toll manufacturing unit in Sri Lanka.
Esdan was established in 1992 following a management buyout of the business of Esdan-Flavell Pty Ltd, whose origins date back to 1965. 
The company is now part of Tramec Holdings, a USA based manufacturer and distributor of specialty and general purpose metal, rubber, and plastic products.  
We take pride in serving a global customer base, with products designed for automotive, industrial, agricultural and household applications. 
Our products are currently sold in New Zealand, North America, Europe, South-East Asia and Australia. 
Innovative design, focus on quality and exceptional customer service are significant reasons for the continued growth of Esdan.

Packaging sustainability policy:
Our Commitment: the packaging that is used to protect, distribute and market our products has environmental impacts throughout a chain that stretches from our suppliers, through our distributors and retailers, to the end user and beyond. Therefore, we want to use packaging which has the lowest environmental impact while protecting, delivering and presenting the quality of our products. 
We are committed to achieving this by using Sustainable Packaging Guidelines to improve the sustainability our product packaging.

Our targets:
We aim to achieve the following packaging sustainability targets by 2025.
Evaluate packaging of our entire product range against Sustainable Packaging Guidelines 
Make 80 % of our packaging recyclable or reusable
Ensure 80 % of our packaging consist of recycled or renewable content
Label all of our recyclable packaging with appropriate logos and / or consumer information
Ensure 50% of our key suppliers comply with our packaging sustainability requirements
These targets apply to packaging used in-house branded products. 
While we have no control over packaging used in private label products, we will do our best to convince the brand owners to use sustainable packaging in them.
