The story of Pacer Pumps.
Pacer Pumps began life in USA in 1974.
The founder acted on his idea that a plastic, lightweight, low-cost self-priming centrifugal pump would make a viable alternative to the metal pumps of the day.
As the idea of a plastic pump took hold, Pacer became the leading name in the industry.
Pacer Pumps is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA.
Lancaster is a city located in South Central Pennsylvania which serves as the seat of Pennsylvania's Lancaster County and one of the older inland towns in the United States.
Population in 2012 was 59,360.
Today as part of the ASM Industries family, Pacer has full control over the manufacturing of its products.
Plastic parts are injection molded by a sister company just a few miles from Pacer USA headquarters.
Pacer distribution centers are now also located in Peru, Illinois, Texas, Amarillo and Reno.
